Name: Phra Pidta Maha Larp Statue
**Feature: Phra Pidta is sitting on a Naga (great snake) that is coiling around as a seat and shading (like an umbrella) using his head. This style is called Phra Pidta Nak Prok. The end has Rahuswallowing moon image called RahuOm Jan. People believe Naga will bring wealth and Rahuwill change bad luck to good luck.

**POWER: A plump Buddha with his hands covering his eyes is a well-known name of Phra Pidta (one of Buddha’s enlightened disciples). Phra Pidta represents plenty and well-being. Thai Buddhists believe worshiping Phra Pidta will bring wealth and charm called Metta Maha Niyom, the charm that makes people show mercy and do favors for you.
The Story of a Senior Guru Monk:
LP Nong was born in BE 2459 (CE1916) in Lop Buri Province. LP got ordained as a novice at the age of 12. He learnt dharma and magic from his uncle, LP Derm who was a former abbot of Wat NongPho, Nakhon Sawan Province and a famous guru monk in the past. LP Nong has knowledge of magic, sacred tattooing. He is good at making efficacious amulets following LP Derm’s way. Age 21, LP Nong was a soldier for 2 years. After that, he was ordained as a monk at age 23 at Wat OhPahSee, Bangkok. Then he came back to Wat NongPho, Nakhon Sawan Province to look after LP Derm until LP Derm passed away in CE 1939. Later, people in Sakaeo Province requested him to be an abbot at Wat WangSiThong. He accepted the request and has become an abbot until now. Today, LP Nong is one of famous guru monks in Thailand. He is a worshipful monk. A lot of people love and respect him.
