Background of Wat Sakunaram, Chainat Province:
“Wat Sakunaram” or people informally call “Wat Nok” is located at 76 Moo 1, Bang Khud, Sankhaburi District, Chainat Province. Wat Sakunaram is the ancient temple where is more than 120 years old and is in more than 30 acres of land. Wat Sakunaram is famous for LP Eib, a superb guru monk of this temple who made superb protection. LP Eib passed away in 1960 or 52 years ago (1960-2012). LP Eib was contemporary with LP Kuai of Wat Ban Khae (4 km far from Wat Sakunaram), but LP Eib was older than LP Kuai. LP Eib went to study magic with several guru monks such as LP Sri of Wat MaPrang, etc. LP Eib knew both Cambodian language and Laotian language. He could tattoo magical letters of being invulnerable. Many people came to be tattooed by him. The tattoos and amulets by LP Eib are very powerful and have superstition effects.
