The Biography of LP Wiriyang:
LP Wiriyang was born on Friday 7th January BE2463 at Saraburi Province. LP Wiriyang was ordained as Buddhist novice when he was 15 years old at Wat Suthajinda in 22 May BE2477. Moreover, LP Wiriyang was ordained as Buddhist monk when he was 21 years old at Wat Sai Ngam in Janthaburi Province. After ordination, LP Wiriyang went to study the meditation with LP Kongma and LP Mun Purithattho who was great monk of Thailand. LP Wiriyang studied with LP Mun for 4 years. Nowadays, LP Wiriyang is abbot of Wat Thammongkol.

Phra Buddha Chinnarat is one of the most beautiful and venerated Buddha sculptures in posture of submitting Mara in Thailand. Wat Yai or formally called Wat PhraSriRattanaMahathat Woramahavihan, Phitsanulok Province is famous throughout Thailand for this gold cast Phra Buddha Chinnarat, also known as “Victory Buddha” to the Thais.
Phra Buddha Chinnarat has been patronized by Thai Kings. The royal family in Thailand firmly believed in Phra Buddha Chinnarat until the extent that King Rama 5 faithfully made several copies of the Victory Buddha to be placed in other parts of Thailand including Wat Benchamabophit in Bangkok and Wat Saranatthammaram in Rayong.
