Biography of LP Khong, Wat WangSapPhaRot, Janthaburi Province:
LP Khong was a famous guru monk, in contemporary with great guru monks such as LP Tim, Wat LaHanRai; LP To, Wat PraDuChimPhlee; LP Kham, Wat WangWa, LP Phrom, Wat Chongkhae, etc. He also participated in many consecration ceremonies with top guru monks in Thailand. His amulets are powerful in compassion & charm and being invulnerable.
LP Khong was born on the 20th September 1902. His former name is Mr. Khong Theekhayu. His parents were Mr. Song and Mrs. Ong. He first got ordained at Wat TaPrai in Trat Province at the age of 21 and stayed there for 9 years. In 1934, he got ordained again at Wat ChomPhuLai in Trat Province.
LP Khong went on a pilgrimage around Thailand and over to Myanmar and Cambodia to practice magic of tiger. His amulets in almost batches have a picture of a tiger. After he felt enough for pilgrimage, he came back to Wat WangSapPhaRot and was appointed as an abbot in 1949. LP Khong passed away on the 23th September 1989 at the age of 87.
