This Luang Por Toh is a holy Buddha image of Wat Yang, Bangkok. Background of this Buddha image was not common. Initially, Wat Yang had no main Buddha statue. One day, a wooden Buddha image floated along the river and stopped at the pier of the temple. Laotian people living around the temple invited and placed the Buddha image in Ubosot. This Buddha image became the main Buddha statue and was called ‘Luang Por Toh’ that means ‘big Buddha’.
