About LP Juan of Wat Kai Tia, Suphanburi Province:
LP Juan or people often call “Luangta Juan” was an abbot of Wat Kai Tia, Sri Prachan District, Suphanburi Province. He was a famous guru monk of Suphanburi.
LP Juan was born on 13 August 1913, ordained as a Buddhist novice at age 13 and a monk at age 20. People in Suphanburi Province say LP Juan was a holy monk especially his spoken words.
Once, on 86th birthday event of LP Juan, many people came to temple to attend the event and before people went home, the temple gave out a token to them. The token was a flag for hanging in a car with a picture of LP Juan on it. Due to a number of attendees, the flags were not enough. When LP Juan knew, he spoke into a microphone to people to get only one flag for individual present in the event. When people heard that, ones who got more than one flag returned the extra to LP Juan because they believed LP Juan produced holy words. Except a middle-aged lady, she came one but got two flags. While she was going home, she got a car accident, but she was safe. Then she came to temple to return extra flag to LP Juan. When she saw LP Juan, LP Juan said “I’ve told, but you didn’t believe me.”
LP Juan passed away on 2 August 2001 at age 88.
