The Biography of LP Rian of Aranyabanphot Temple, Nongkhai Province:
LP Rian Woralapho is an abbot of Aranyabanphot Temple, Nongkhai Province. He is a good monk who seriously studies dharma of Buddha in theory and practice. He always teaches people concerning own awareness and considering instability of life.
LP Rian was born on 8thJanuary 1912 in Nongkhai Province. He got ordained as a monk at Wat Ban Hongthong, Nongkhai Province when he was 20 years old. He has seriously practiced doing meditation since being a monk. He went on a pilgrim from 6th – 16th year of his monkhood. He stayed and taught dharma in practice in the southern region of Thailand from 19th - 26th year of his monkhood. Then he moved to Wat Aranyabanphot, Nongkhai Province in 1959 and has lived there until now.
LP Rian calmly passed away on the 5th June BE 2548 (CE 2005) at the age of 93 (73 years in monkhood). Wonderfully, LP Rian’s bone ash became small crystal solids.
