The Biography of LP Ngon, Wat PhraPhutThaBatKhaoRuak, PhiJit Province:
LP Ngon got ordained as a monk in 1939 at Wat SriThepPraDitThaRam in Nakhonphanom Province. LP Wang who was his patron monk sent him to stay with LP BoonTan BupPhaRat ThamMaYaNo who was a leader of monks of Laos. LP Ngon studied subjects for a monk and Buddhist language in Laotian. LP BoonTan loved him very much because he studied well and could speak Thai, Laotian, English and French. LP Ngon also studied herbs with LP BoonTan because LP BoonTan was very interested in herbs. LP Ngon was a good monk who can be a good model for people. He also made advantage for Buddhism and the country. He was very witty, friendly and always had compassion for everyone. He lived simply and set his heart on dharma and meditation. He passed away on the 7th March 1999 at the age of 94.
