Biography of LP Huan:
LP Huan was born in 29 August B.E.2472 (C.E.1929) at Angthong province. LP Huan was ordained in 12 March B.E.2494 at Wat Phutthaisawan. LP Huan is abbot of temple and great magical expert of Ayutthaya province. The well known amulet of LP Huan is “Lek Lai” that LP Huan studied from magical expert. In first time to created Lek Lai happen on B.E.2530, LP Huan went to the sacred cave in Lampang with his teacher to call and create Lek Lai.
History of Wat Phutthaisawan
This temple is located to the south of the river bank opposite the city island. Constructed in the area where King U-Thong and his subjects first migrated in order to establish the new town, it was formerly known as "Wiang Lek" named after the royal palace of King U-Thong. The most distinctive feature of this temple is the great principal Buddha image cast in the early Ayutthaya style.
