Name: B.E.2513 Rian Sangkhati Lek

From: Jao Khun Nor, Wat Tepsirin, Bangkok

Material: copper

Year: C.E. 1970 (B.E. 2513)

Size: 1.8 cm x 3 cm

Origin: Thailand

Purpose for making: Than Chao Khun Nor created this Buddha amulet for finding money to build Navamintorarachanusorn School.

Ceremony: Jao Khn Nor strongly blessed this powerful amulet in 5 December B.E.2513 by himself for long time at Buddhist church of Wat Tepsirin.

Power: Thai People believe Jao Khun Nor amulet has power to protect them from danger, enemies, and bad things and induce good luck.

Presented: in the back of the coin has many holy Yant and characters.

Biography of Than Jao Khun Nor:
Than Jao Khun Nor, was an abbot of Wat Tepsirin and close royal servant of King Rama VI. He had ordained a monk at Wat Dhepsirin in 1925 and never left his monkhood until he passed away in early 1971 at the age of 74. In his long years of monkhood, he ate only one vegetable ad cereal meal a day and never stepped out of the temple even in the period. In the war time, Bangkok railway main station just few KM away from the temple was intensively bombed by the allied force, but the bombs missed the target and hit the temple. Almost all monks left the temple for safety, but he was still living there. Than Jao Khun Nor, was strict Dhamma practicer. He practiced advanced Dhamma, devoted all his monkhood life to follow Lord Buddha’s teachings, and never mixed the morning and evening chant at Ubosoth until the end of his life.
