The Top Phra Geji in Thailand II

This article is about top monks in east of Thailand that has only 5 provinces but has many great top monks who were very well known in Thailand.

1. Kranchanaburi Province

- Phra Rajudommongkol or LP Uttama of Wat Wangwiwekarm

Biography of LP Uttama: LP Uttama was born in B.E.2453 at Malamang province of Burma. His father brought LP Uttama to study at Wat Mokkanaieng since he was 9 years old. LP Uttama was ordained as Buddhist novice at Wat Mokkanaieng when he was 19 years old. In B.E.2474, LP Uttama was ordained as Buddhist monk at Wat Kelasa. After ordination, LP Uttama went around Burma to study the magic and practice meditation. B.E.2486, LP Uttama pilgrimage in to Thailand that while pilgrimage LP Uttama met many top monks in Thailand such as LP Waen Sujino, LP Fun Arjaro and other. After that, LP Uttama heard his preceptor was sick. Therefore, LP Uttama went back to reserve his preceptor in Burma. After his preceptor passed away, LP Uttama decided to come back in Thailand again. LP Uttama went in Kranchanaburi province and lived in Wat Parangkasri for 2 years then LP Uttama went to study Thai language at Wat Ko in Ratchaburi province. In B.E.2494, there were Mon people emigrated from Burma to Thailand in Sangkhaburi district. The Mon people invited LP Uttama to live in Sangkhaburi district by making the temple in their village. LP Uttama went to stay at Wat Wiwekaram since B.E.2494. LP Uttama developed the temple to be beautiful and well known temple. LP Uttama is kindness and unambitious monk. LP Uttama passed away in 18 October C.E.2006 when he was 97 years old.

The well known amulets of LP Uttama are “Soi Prakham” (rosary bracelet) and Rian LP Uttama (LP Uttama coin).

- LP Yim of Wat Nongbua

Biography of LP Yim: LP Yim is very well known top monk in Thailand who had life in similar LP Sook of Wat Pakkhongmakhamthao period. LP Yim was born in B.E.2387 (C.E.1844) at Kranchanaburi province. When LP Yim was 20 years old, he was ordained at Wat Thungsamor in Kranchanaburi province by LP Kreap of Wat Nongbua is preceptor. After ordination, LP Yim intensely studied the magic and Buddhist teaching at Wat Nongbua for 2 years then LP Yim went to study the magic with many top monks such as LP Tim of Wat Bangleenoi in Samutsakorn province, LP Klad of Wat Bangphrom who was great magical monk of protective amulets and LP Jang of Wat Praduamphawa. LP Yim liked to practice meditation in forest and people believe LP Yim can talk with animals. Moreover, Prince Abhakara Kiartivongse who is the close disciple of LP Sook ever studied the magic from LP Yim too. Prince Abhakara Kiartivongse studied the magic to create exorcist’s knife from LP Yim. In addition, LP Yim had many well known disciples such as

LP Yim passed away in B.E.2453 (C.E.1910) while he was 66 years old.

The well known amulets of LP Yim are “Waen Phirod” (magical ring), “Phra Pidta” amulet and other.

2. Ratchaburi province

- Phra Akkharathammophikhu or LP Pramote of Wat Khaochangum

Biography of LP Pramote: LP Pramote was born in 27 December B.E.2500 at Angthong province. After LP Pramote graduated high school education, he went to Bangkok for working with his relation. When LP Pramote was 24 years old, he went back Angthong province to ordain as Buddhist monk to compensate the goodness of his parents. LP Pramote was ordained at Wat Manaowhan by LP Song is preceptor. After LP Pramote ordination, LP Pramote went around Thailand to practice meditation and study the magic. LP Pramote studied the magic from ancient methods such as LP Derm of Wat Nongpho, LP Phad of Wat Bot, LP Noom of Wat Nangnai and other methods. In B.E.2546 (C.E.2003), his mother passed away but before that his mother said she want LP Pramote to live near. Therefore LP Pramote’s relation invited LP Pramote to live in Wat Khaochangum. Since LP Pramote has been living in Wat Khaochangum, he continuously develops and restores the temple.

The well known amulets of LP Pramote are “Phra Phikhanet” (Ganesha) amulet, “Rian LP Pramote” (LP Pramote coin) and other.

- Phra Kru Anurakworakhun or LP Sanga of Wat Banmor

Biography of LP Sanga: LP Sanga was born 11 March B.E.2469 (C.E.1926) at Ratchaburi province. When LP Sanga was young, he liked to travel in other villages for studying the magic. In one day, LP Sanga went to Wat Saiarak to beg the abbot for studying magic but the abbot said LP Sanga should come back his village to study the magic from top monk who live in his village. Therefore, LP Sanga decided to ordain as Buddhist monk when LP Sanga was 22 years old at Wat Banmor by LP Kling of Wat Khongkharam is preceptor. LP Sanga studied the magic from many great magical monks such as LP Pae, LP Pia of Wat Banmor, LP Dee of Wat Banyang, LP Plian of Wat Tai, LP Cham of Wat Takong, LP Ngoen of Wat Donyaihom and other. LP Sanga has great magic about “Sak Yant” (tattoo) that who tattooed Yant from LP Sanga was safe from weapon and harm. However, some disciples of LP Sanga who tattoo from LP Sanga used the magic in wrong moral, therefore LP Sanga decided to stop tattoo. In B.E.2484, the people in Wat Nongmuang invited LP Sanga to stay at the temple. LP Sanga developed Wat Nongmuang from deserted temple to well known temple in Ratchaburi province. After that, LP Sanga came back Wat Banmore to be abbot of the temple. LP Sanga passed away in 29 March B.E.2547 (C.E.2004) while he was 88 years old. Moreover, the corpse of LP Sanga was not decomposition and the corpse has been keeping in glass coffin.

The well known amulets of LP Sanga are “Rian LP Sanga first batch” (LP Sanga coin), “Pha Yang LP Sanga” (magical cloth) and other.

3. Phetburi province

- Phra Kru Winaiwatcharakit or LP Oun of Wat Talkong

Biography of LP Oun: LP Oun was born in 9 March B.E.2459 (C.E.1916) at Phetburi province. LP Oun was ordained at Wat Talkong by LP Chan of Wat Mabplakhao is preceptor when LP Oun was 20 years old. LP Oun studied the magic from many top monks in the past such as
1. LP Phil of Wat Talkong who was great magical expert of Phetburi province. LP Phil had great magic about invulnerable.
2. LP Thongsuk of Wat Tanodluang who was very well known in Thailand. LP Thongsuk has many excellent magic. Especially, the holy powder magic. LP Oun studied the magic from LP Thongsuk for long time.
3. LP Chan of Wat Mabplakhao that LP Oun studied magic about “Ling Lom” (magical monkey) and create Takrut.
4. AJ Mo who was the magical expert of tattoo holy characters in Phetburi province.

LP Oun is kindness monk and liked to practice in deep forest. LP Oun went to around Thailand to develop the poor temples such as “Tha Mai Lai” Buddhist place and other. LP Oun is one of well known in Thailand because when there were ceremonies LP Oun is one of great monk to bless amulet. LP Oun passed away 31 October B.E.2553 (C.E.2010).

The well known amulets of LP Oun are “Somdej Khee Seua” amulet, “Rian LP Oun” (coin) and other.

- Phra Kru Samut Somjit or LP Ji of Wat Nongwah

Biography of LP Ji: LP Ji was born in 24 July B.E.2507 (C.E.1964) at Phetburi province. LP Ji was ordained in B.E.2527 (C.E.1984). After ordination, LP Ji went to study magic and meditation with many top monks such as LP Pheaw of Wat Tanodluang, LP Yid of Wat Nongjok and other. LP Yid ever said “LP Ji is good magical expert that he can do everything like me”. Nowadays, LP Ji is vice abbot of Wat Nongwah and secretary of monk dean in Phetburi province. LP Ji is kindness and staid monk. LP Ji is very excellent kindness monk because when he gets money from amulets will donate it to develop the temple and give to poor students.

The well known amulets of LP Ji are “Palad Khik” amulet, “Takrut Tone” and other.
