the name of the first and only one dynasty of Sukhothai Kingdom.

Ruang amulets were first discovered under the pagoda at Wat Phra Prang
in Sukhothai province. Phra Ruang amulet is popular among police and
soldiers and ones who are seeking for holy protector because this Buddha
amulet is powerful in protection and invulnerability. Others say Phra
Ruang amulet brings good luck and windfalls as well.
With popularity in real power, people come to Sukhothai province to dig for ancient Phra Ruang amulets.
Phra
Ruang amulet is famous and popular among worshipers in Thailand. Power
of protection and vulnerability is prominent and widely known. For
instance, people who actively dag for Phra Ruang amulets fought one
another for benefit. In that fight, nobody was injured believed because
of protective power in amulets they found.
Not
only common people, but Field Marshal Sarit Thanarat, a former prime
minister of Thailand always wore Phra Ruang on his neck especially when
going on a duty.
Dr. Prajuab Watcharapan, a famous amulet collector said he never saw people who wore Phra Ruang have a violent death.

Phra Ruang amulet imparts favorable power to worshipers in many aspects

Taew, a middle-aged man who is alive after death. Mr. Taew or people
call “Lung Taew” told his experience that “I remember I had an accident
and passed out for 2 days. People near me thought I was fifty-fifty to
live. In my dream, I saw four big men in red shorts awfully stared at
me. I thought they were staff who take spirit for judgment. I was full
of fear and then recalled my Phra Ruang amulet. I prayed to amulet for
help and those spirits stopped and said: You have such a holy thing that
we couldn’t take you. Then I was conscious.”
