Myth about Naga
Naga is also intertwined with the history of Buddha, as seen in various legends where they play crucial roles in protecting and assisting the enlightened one. The story of Phaya Moot-cha-lin, the great Naga who provides shelter to Buddha under the Indian Oaktree, exemplifies the deep connection between Naga and Buddhism.

These gold medals are very popular among Thai amulet collectors.

1.    Rian Phra Phut 25 Sattawat by Committee of Phutthamonthon (official Buddhist forum), Nakhon Pathom province

Rian Phra Phut 25 Sattawat was made in 2500 B.E. (1957 C.E.) by the committee of Phutthamonthon (official Buddhist forum), Nakhon Pathom province in order to celebrate 2,500 years of Buddhism. At that time, Rian Phra Phut 25 Sattawat was made in different substances as follows:

-    Nuea Chin (a mixture of lead and tin) Phra Phut 25 Sattawat Medal made 2,421,250 pieces
-    Mass Phra Phut 25 Sattawat Amulet made 2,421,250 pieces
-    Real Gold Phra Phut 25 Sattawat Medal made only 2,500 pieces

History:

- On 8 February 1957, 108 top guru monks blessed materials used to make amulet and medal at Wat Suthat, Bangkok.
- On 10 February 1957, His Majesty the King Bhumibol came to cast gold Phra Phut 25 Sattawat medal and pressed holy mass in the mould for auspicious beginning.
- On 2 -7 May 1957, Phra Phut 25 Sattawat amulets and medals were blessed by 108 experienced guru monks. Blessing period had 2 parts: 2-4 May 1957 (3 days and nights) and 5-7 May 1957 (3 days and nights).

2.    Rian Pokasarp blessed by Jow Khun Nor, Wat Thepsirin, Bangkok

Rain Pokasarp by Jow Khun Nor was released in 2513 B.E. (1970 C.E.) by Phra Maha Sangat, Wat Thepsirin. The medal was made in small and big in gold, silver, burnt Nawa Loha (mixed 9 metals) and gold plated Nawa Loha. Copper medal was not made.
The price of gold Rian Pokasarp is expensive about 100,000 baht. Silver is about 15,000 baht and Nawa Loha (mixed 9 metals) is about 12,000 baht. Small Rian Pokasarp is more popular than big one because it is easy to be carried.  Price of small gold Rian Pokasarp is about big gold Rian Pokasarp.

3.    Rian Sema 8 Rob blessed by LP Tim, Wat LaHan Rai, Rayong province

This Rian Sema 8 Rob was made in the occasion of age 96 of LP Tim on 16 June 2518 B.E. (1975 C.E.). These are substances of  Rian Sema 8 Rob.

-  Copper Medal (created 2,519 pieces) current price about 300,000-500,000 baht
-  Nawa (mixed 9 metals) Medal (created 999 pieces) current price about 600,000-800,000 baht
-  Silver Medal (created 199 pieces) price current about 1,000,000-2,000,000 baht
-  Gold Medal (created 19 pieces) current price about 5,000,000-10,000,000 baht

The reasons that Rian LP Koon Roon Sarng Baramee 2519 B.E. is more expensive than Rian LP Koon 2512 B.E. (1969 C.E.) are:

1.    2519 B.E. LP Koon medal was made at Wat BahnRai, Nakhon Ratchasima province (temple of LP Koon) for the first time.
2.    Design of 2519 B.E. LP Koon medal is nice with clear LP Koon image.
3.    2519 B.E. LP Koon medal was built in a small amount.
