Today, I’m going to present you about people’s amazing experiences about sacred needles called ‘Khem Thong Kanong Rit’ by Phra Arjarn Pom of Wat Nong Muang in Nakhon Nayok Province.
Phra Arjarn Pom (a current abbot of Wat Nong Muang) keeps on science of holy acupuncture ‘Visha Khem Thong Kanong Rit’ from his master who was a former abbot.
This science is different from a general acupuncture because it is not done for curing but for being invulnerable and the needles are not removed from body.
Some Thai people believe that sacred needles put in their bodies will make them safe from danger supernaturally. So, men especially police or soldiers are interested in this science very much. They come to Wat Nong Muang to ask Phra Arjarn Pom to put sacred needles into their bodies.
‘Visha Khem Thong Kanong Rit’ is an old magical science in Thai belief. The needles have to be very thin and small. They must be consecrated before using. Then Phra Arjarn Pom puts needles into parts of person’s body for example forehead, shoulders and arms.
Phra Arjarn Pom says that the needles can travel in person’s body and person can take needles out by concentrating. He always says that people who have sacred needles must have faith in this science first and not do bad because holiness does not help bad people. In fact, sacred needles do not cause pain on person other than person is not good. If person does bad, the needles will hurt him as wood splinters. Phra Arjarn Pom adds, person must spell ‘phut-tho’ as well.
Phra Arjarn Pom also says that inside needles will make person feel for danger if it comes.
Someone who ever got sacred needles revealed that they felt needles going around his body. He went to the doctor to be x-rayed. The x-ray film showed that needles changed their positions comparing the picture 1 with picture 2.

Now, there are 2 true stories from people who have sacred needles in their bodies.
First one is a police officer named ‘Mr. Pojanat Ngobpimai’. He told that at first he did not believe. He came to get sacred needles because his friend persuaded him. But after ceremony finished, Phra Arjarn Pom could take a needle out of him, so he was very amazed. 
Second one is an inspector named ‘Mr. Wara Phongsiri’. He told that he heard about ‘Visha Khem Thong’ and wanted to try because he wanted to be safe in his job. After he got sacred needles from Phra Arjarn Pom, he could remove needles using concentrating by himself like what Phra Arjarn Pom had told him.
