Color: Yellow (Represent to Phra Vinai Pitaka, one of 3 things in Buddhist Scriptures)

Purpose of making : According to Wat Pak Nam is constructing Phra Maha Chedi Maha Ratcha Mongkol (A chedi in Thai style Architecture) which very large and highest chedi in Bangkok for being a symbol of the Triple Gem, be the place for contain the relic of Buddha, for worship Phra Mongkol Thepmuni (LP Wat Pak Nam) and be the place for practicing meditation. This Chedi built since August 27th BE 2547 and now still remain the decorating of interior and exterior that will take time more 2 years later.
Somdej Phra Maha Rachamangkhalajarn, the present abbot of Wat Pak Nam would like to create 84,000 Buddha Amulets for containing in Phra Maha Chedi as the number of collective body of Laws (Phra Dhamma Khan) following the way of LP Wat Pak Nam.

Ceremony :
The previous ceremony for containing the first group of 84,000 Buddha Amulets and gold leaf which wrote name on the top of Phra Maha Chedi already finished on August 26th BE2551 (Time 13:09 PM)
For this time (BE 2554) will contain the second group of Phra Jaturathien (84,000 Buddha Amulets) in Phra Chedi Kaew on the 4th floor of Phra Maha Chedi. The Buddhist could join to create these Buddha Amulets and write name on gold leaf on this occasion again.

The powerful of yellow amulet: This color is mean intelligence, discipline such as lineage or childhood. When containing this color amulet, pray for your lineage is a good intelligence person and succeed in learning.

Feature: The style of this amulet is from a medal for a good student of Wat Pak Nam’s Scripture school. This amulet has round shape and 2 side which one side is picture of Phra Maha Chedi Maha Ratcha Mongkol and another side has picture of 4 great monks who did many things for Wat Pak Nam that are :

History of Wat Paknam Phasicharoen:
Wat Paknam Phasicharoen (also known as Wat Pak Nam) is one of the most important wat where LP Sod Chantasaro had ever lived and was the abbot in charge. LP Sod was a great Vipassana meditation master and as well as teacher.
Wat Paknam is the third grade temple with a sizeable population of monks and nuns. The wat was estimated to be created in the middle of Ayuttaya period. Perhaps, surmised by antiques and ancient remains in the temple such as Tripitaka Hall, Ubosot, etc. There was restored several times and till the Reign of King Rama VI this temple lacked an abbot. In 2459, the chief monk of Wat Jetthuphon, Somdej Phra Wanaraj recommended Phra Samuha Sod Chansaro to become the chief monk of Wat Paknam.

Note: The temple will give a small wealthy coin as reserve money for the worshippers who join to create these personal Buddha amulets.
