Phiphek, Great Teacher of Astrology:
Phiphek (Vibhishana) is an interesting character in the legendary Indian epic Ramayana who is a younger brother of Thotsakan (Ravana), subsequently departing to Rama to fight against Thotsakan by using his excellent astrological ability granted by Lord Shiva. In Thailand, Phiphek is praised as the great teacher of astrology, said to thoroughly see the world, heaven and hell including the past and the future through his right eye.
Power: Thai people believe Phra Phiphek’s power can change bad fate to good fate, enrich the person and bring good destiny to all aspects of life. That’s to say, whoever worships Phra Phiphek wouldn’t never find difficulties and misfortune.

Wat San Chao is a longtime well-known temple in Pathum Thani Province. “San Chao” means “shrine” because this temple has Lao Bun Thao Gong Shrine. Besides, this temple had Luang Por Sorn, a famous guru monk as a former abbot. Now, the present abbot is Luang Por Parn.
