About Guru Monk:
LP Jom Nakaseno was born on 7 October 2462 BE (1919 CE) in Amnat Charoen Province. He admires LP Mun Puritatto, a meditation monk. LP Jom got ordained as a Buddhist monk when he was 37. After that, he accomplished Nak Tham Ek, the highest level of dharma study. Then LP Jom saw that meditation and pilgrimage very important for a monk to find out himself, so he went to LP Mun Puritatto whom he has faith in to learn meditation and accompany with LP Mun on a pilgrimage. Other than LP Mun, LP Jom went to many respectable monks to learn meditation and mantra. With the way of LP Mun, LP Jom keeps himself modest and simple. Until 2533 BE (1990 CE), LP Jom stayed at Wat Phu Jampa in Amnat Charoen and a high-ranking monk invited LP Jom to be an abbot at Wat Pa Phothisomporn, the temple in his hometown. In 2547 BE (2004 CE), Wat Pa Phothisomporn was renamed “Wat Pa Ban Don Du”.
