The Biography of LP Klai:
LP Klai Wajasit of Wat Suan Khan and Wat Phra That Noi or “Phra Kru Phisit Atthakan” (his name in priest’s ranks). His former name is “Khlai SriNin”. He was born on Tuesday 27th the middle of the lunar month, year of the rat or BE2419 (CE1876) at Bann Khok Teu, Nakorn Si Thammarat Province. He was a son of Mr. In and Mrs. Neaw SriNin.
When he was 15 years old, he met an accident while he cleared land for farming. His 3 toes was cracked and could not cure, thus he cut his end of foot by himself. He also cut his left leg by his resolution from another accident.
LP Klai was ordained as a novice when he was 19 years old on 30th June BE 2438 at Wat Chan Dii (Wat Thung Pon ) by the abbot of Wat Chan Dii. He could read and remember the text book very well and when he was 20 years old, LP Klai was ordained as a Buddhist monk in the year BE 2439 at Wat Wang Muang, named is “Chan Tha Suwanno” and he stayed at Wat Chan Dii (Wat Thung Pon).
In year BE2441, LP Klai studied Dhamma at Wat Na Phra That, Nakorn Si Thammarat Province in 2 years and went to study meditation at Wat Sam Pan, Surat Thani Province in BE2443. Then BE2445 he was back to stay at Wat Hat Sung for study meditation and magical. Until BE 2448, the abbot of Wat Suan Khan leaved the Buddhist monkhood thus LP Klai became the abbot of this temple instead. In the year BE 2500 he also became the abbot of Wat That Noi and after he passed away, his corps was place in the glass coffin in this temple.
