LP Som, a present abbot of Wat Samrong built this Phra Buddha Chinnarat Somprathana medal to make money to restore his temple. This medal is retro style from the original Phra Buddha Chinnarat medal by LP Phoon who was a past abbot of Wat Samrong.
The medal is mixed with melted holy metal sheets inscribed with magical scripts for holiness. Casting ceremony took place on 15 August 2013 at Wat Samrong, Nakhon Pathom.
The medal was blessed by LP Som singly until 29 August 2013 and then passed the grand blessing ceremony that 9 top guru monks joined the event such as LP Eiad (Wat Phai Lorm, Ayutthaya), LP Poon (Wat Ban Pan, Ayutthaya), LP Peng (Wat Hom Ket, Nakhon Pathom), LP Auayporn (Wat Don Yai Hom, Nakhon Pathom), LP Pae (Wat Sawang Arom, Nakhon Pathom), etc.
