9. LP Thawee gave Phra Khun Paen to King Rama IX about 10,060 items.
10. LP Thawee gave Phra Khun Paen to colonel Amnuay Surachet to give armies in Chira Prawat camp about 4,500 items
11. In BE2523 (CE1980), LP Thawee gave Phra Khun Paen to armies who lives in “Aranya Prathet” borderland about 8,900 items
12. In BE2524 (CE1981) LP Thawee gave Phra Khun Paen to people who joined to make merit in made monastic boundary at Wat Ban Krang about 10,000 items.

Nowadays, Wat Ban Krang continuously takes Phra Khun Paen from pagoda to sell for worshipper to take money develops and restores the buildings in temple.


The Biography of LP Thawee:
Phra Kru A Phat Sin Khun or LP Thawee was the former abbot of Wat Ban Krang is nephew of LP Mui of Wat Don Rai. LP Thawee made Phra Khun Paen since he wasn’t the abbot of temple. LP Thawee is one of famous guru monk in Supanburi Province. LP studied magical knowledge with LP Mui.

Theses terracotta amulets are from the sputa of Wat Ban Krang. The Uniqueness of its texture is the solid grains and tayers, which made the pebbles and particles visible throughout the amulets. The colors of these particles are red. There was no stain found on the surface of the amulets.

The History of Wat Ban Krang:
Wat Ban Krang, Suphan Buri Province. This monastery is located on the west bank of the Tha Chin River and covering an area of 29 Rai (Thai measurement system) or approximately 11.6 acres. There is a very old monastery built in the Ayutthaya era and is over 450 years old. The main attraction of this monastery is Thai votive tablet “Khun Paen”. Assuned that it was vcreated by King Naresuan the great to commemorate victory against King Maha Uparacha of Burma in single hand elephant back combat at Ban Nongsarai, Amphoe Don Chedi in CE1592. Somdej Phra Ponnarat of Wat Pa Keaw presided in this building and kept inside stupa of Wat Ban Krang for the Buddhist worship. The votive tablet “Khn Paen” made drom clay mixed with Kaolin using Ayutthaya design. There were 84,000 pieces the votive tablet had 41 kinds split to 27 kinds of single votive tablet and 14 kinds of twin votive tablet. The twin votive tablet is very important because it built for the memory of King Naresuan the great and King Phra Ekatosarot.
