Past Guru Monk Introduction
About >> LP Nam Chinnawaro:
• LP Nam Chinnawaro was a past abbot of Wat Don Sala who achieved advanced magic from Samnak Kow Oor (later became Wat Kow Oor) where is the oldest sacred magic institute of the South of Thailand. • He was alive in C.E. 1891-1976. • He built great development for Wat Don Sala and his virtue still exists in people’s memory. • His amulets are powerful and rare now.
There are many monks who learnt magic from Samnak Kow Oor (the oldest magic institute of the south of Thailand, later became Wat Kow Oor) became famous guru monks for example
LP Kloy (alive), LP Eum (alive), etc.
LP Nam Chinnawaro (often Luangpoh Nam) was one of them. LP Nam was born on the 9th August B.E. 2434 (C.E. 1891). In fact, LP Nam had learnt magic of Kow Oor from LP Gliang GaewJan who was his father. His father was a monk at Samnak Kow Oor at that time. He first got ordained at age 20. Then he resigned and married. However, he did not absolutely leave magic. He participated in sacred events as a layman.
Until age 74, he was very sick and almost died. He dreamed of a monk. In a dream, a monk said that LP Nam would get over sickness if he got ordained again without second resignment. When LP Nam woke up, he promised himself to be a monk until death. His second ordination took place on the 5th July B.E. 2506 (C.E. 1963). LP Nam Chinnawaro was a good monk. People respect him very much.
