The last session is on Saturday the 26th January C.E. 2013.   Biography of Prince Abhakara Kiartivongse, Prince Chumphon:              Admiral Prince Abhakara Kiartivongse, Prince Chumphon, (19 December 1880 – 19 May 1923) was the 28th child of King Chulalongkorn. His familiar other names, Sadej Tia ("Royal Father") or Doctor Phon or Prince Chumphon, will command deep respect from Thai people from navy officers to rural villagers.            He spent his early years studying naval warfare in England. He returned to Siam to serve in the Royal Siamese Navy and contributed significantly to the advancement and modernization of the navy. In honor of his contributions, the Prince was proclaimed "The Father of Royal Thai Navy".             In addition to his career in the navy, Prince Chumphon studied medicine. He was particularly interested in the use of herbal medicine in treating his patients. As "Doctor Phon", he provided medical treatment to people of all classes and races.            The Prince was also well recognized in the field of supernatural arts. His reputation on magic was such that he has been regarded as one of the "108 deities in heavens". Many worshippers proclaim themselves to be his "children" or followers and pray to him for fulfillment of their wishes. Prince Abhakara Kiartivongse died in 1923 at the young age of 44. (Source:  Wikipedia) Biography of LP Nguen, Wat BangKlan, Pijit Province:          LP Nguen was a famous guru monk in Thailand. He passed away already. However people still respect and worship him. LP Nguen was born on the 16th September 1810 in Pijit Province. He was novice at the age of 12 years old at Wat ChaNaSongKram, Bangkok for studying Dharma and Samati until the age of 21 when he was finally ordained as a monk at Wat TongPu. After that, LP Nguen had stayed during the rainy season at Wat Chanasongkram. Next, he was a disciple of LP Toh of Wat Rakangkositaram.  After that, he moved to Wat KongKaRarm. He has been an expert of concentration of mindfulness in Buddhism way. LP Nguen went also called “Tudong” in the deep jungle alone to border of Thailand and Burma .Tudong is monk’s journey to gain knowledge to build up good karma and to know the teaching of Buddha.
