Biography of LP Yon Thammawangso, Wat Tanodluang, Phetburi Province:
LP Yon Thammawangso is well known as a top guru monk of Thailand. He is the best disciple of LP Thongsuk Inthachoto. LP Yon Thammawangso or “Phra Khru Phiphatnopphakit” is now an abbot of Wat Tanodluang, Phetburi Province. His former name was Mr. Yon Yimyaem. He was born on the 19th February 1935 in Phetburi Province. His parents took him to stay with LP Thongsuk when he was 7 years old. LP Thongsuk loved him very much and taught him magic with all his knowledge.
LP Yon Thammawangso got ordained as a monk on the 12th July 1956 at Wat Tanodluang, Phetburi Province. His name in monkhood is “ThamMaWangSo PhiKhu”. He became an abbot of Wat Tanodluang, Phetburi Province in 1996 after LP Phaew had passed away.
