History of Thai Massage:

Thai massage originated from India. In the past, Thai massage massaged only in royal course and senior government officials. Thai massage was very popular in Ayutthaya’s period so Thai massage was expanded to people. There was holding the first school of Thai massage in B.E. 2475 (C.E.1932) name’s “Wat Pho” the purposes of school is teaching Thai massage to people and inheriting Thai massage.

 

 

The advantages of Thai Massage:

Thai massage includes some stretching, to reduce fatigue and release tight muscles while improving blood circulation, relaxing the muscles and creating an overall felling of well being.

However, there are cautions about Thai massage such as

1. Do not have massaged after eating

2. Do not have massaged when exhausted

3. Do not have massaged after take a bath

4. Do not have massaged when to be fever

5. Do not have massaged women are pregnant

                    6. Do not have massaged women have menses

Kinds of Thai massage:

Thai massage can divide into two kinds:

1. Royal course massage

Royal course massage is massaging for healthy by using finger to massage for control the weight of massaging.

 

2. Chaloeisak massage

Chaloeisak massage is massaging of people by using many organs or objects to massage such as finger, elbow and the other. Moreover, in the present there are many objects for supporting massage such as hot compress, aromatherapy and the other. This massaging is very popular in Thailand and foreign countries

1. Mouth massage

 

 

 

First step: Using left hand place of a mouth by little finger tip place on right appendix ear.

Second step: pulling the left hand while compress your lip by the palm should close the mouth.

 

Third and Fourth step: Changing to right hand and do following step one and two.

2. Healthy massage

This is a massage style for making you have long life. This picture is preparing posture.

Step one: Take long inhaling while slow kneeling then hold your breath just a moment while pulling your stomach and constricting your bottom.

Step two: slow exhaling while move your body into preparing posture. Do 5-10 times per day.
